Two Week Old Chickens

I am amazed at how fast our girls are growing!!  When we brought them home two weeks ago, they were all cute and fluffy...and now they sport a half fuzzy half feathered look that only a momma can truly love.  Jay swears he can see them growing, and calls me in to watch them grow at least once a day.  :0)  We have all had lots of fun watching their big girl feathers come in!

Red and Blackie have been duking it out to see who will get to be Queen of the Coop.  Ha ha my bet is on Blackie, but we'll have to see!

And here are Flopsy and Mopsy, we call them the twins:

These two are too funny!  I have never seen two chickens so attached to each other.  If you try to pick up one without the other they'll both practically blow your eardrums out with their cries!  They even sleep next to each other.  It's pretty cute!  

Hopefully we'll get the coop built here in the next few weeks, because these girls are getting big in a hurry!! :0)  Ha ha and just think in 14 weeks or so, we'll have our very own fresh eggs to eat!
